Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
KitchenCountR ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by Polymath Impressions LLC, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to the KitchenCountR web app (kitchencountr.com) and all related services. By using KitchenCountR, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide
Account information (email, display name, optional profile photo, and — for email sign-ups — a password stored only as a one-way hash). Subscription confirmation from RevenueCat (status and subscription ID; we never receive your full card or bank details). User-generated content you submit (posts, photos, comments, court submissions, match data). The content of any support communications.
Information collected automatically
Match and scoring data (results, formats, participation — guest data isn't linked to an account unless signed in). Aggregate usage data (features used, screens visited). Device and technical data (browser, device, OS, IP address) for security and optimization. Approximate (city/region-level) location if you use Nearby courts — we don't track precise GPS or store continuous location. Push notification tokens if you opt in.
Information from third parties
Firebase/Google (authentication and infrastructure), RevenueCat (subscription status), and — if you use Google Sign-In — your name, email, and profile photo from Google.

We do not use your data for advertising targeting on behalf of third parties, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share data only with service providers who help operate the Service (Firebase/Google, RevenueCat, cloud infrastructure — contractually bound to protect it); with other users for information you post publicly (display name, profile photo, shared results, community posts); with a business if you interact with or book through a Business Account; as required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety; and as part of a business transfer (with notice before your data becomes subject to a different policy). We do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers.

After account deletion, anonymized and aggregated data with no personal identifiers may be retained for product analytics.
6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
You can view and update your account information via Profile → Settings. To delete your account, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account; for your security you will be asked to re-authenticate and confirm. Deletion permanently removes your profile, username, match history, stats, saved players, posts, comments, connections, and KC Credits (data removed from active systems shortly after, except data we must retain for legal or fraud-prevention purposes). Records shared with another participant (e.g. a match against another player or a booking with a coach) are kept for that party with your name and identifiers replaced by "Deleted player." Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a KC Pro subscription (billed via RevenueCat, processed through Stripe) — cancel it first at Profile → Subscription to stop future charges. You can also request deletion by emailing privacy@kitchencountr.com from the address on your account. You can delete your posts, photos, and comments at any time. You can deny or revoke location permission in your browser (Nearby features will then not work) and opt out of push notifications via Profile → Notification Settings. Service-related emails cannot be opted out of while your account is active; marketing emails include an unsubscribe link.
California residents (CCPA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, opt out of its sale (we do not sell personal information), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a request, email privacy@kitchencountr.com with the subject "California Privacy Request"; we will respond within 45 days.
7. Children's Privacy
KitchenCountR is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact privacy@kitchencountr.com and we will promptly delete it. Users between 13 and 17 should have parental consent, and we do not knowingly use data from users under 18 for targeted advertising.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), Firebase Security Rules, password hashing, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@kitchencountr.com immediately.
9. Third-Party Links & International Users
The Learn tab links to third-party content such as YouTube videos, which have their own privacy policies. KitchenCountR is operated in the United States; if you access it from elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. EU/EEA users may contact privacy@kitchencountr.com about their rights as we evaluate GDPR requirements.
10. Changes & Contact
